Tusculum students have benefited from a wide range of programs relevant to the needs and challenges of the time.

Domestic Sciences

In the early 20th century, women could earn a "domestic science" certificate, designed to teach skills that would be useful for modern homemaking.

Aviation

Male Tusculum students participated in federal programs for pre-flight aviation during World War II. The airport was located behind the current baseball field.
